TUTORIAL: Keeping it Neutral.

I realised that it has been over a month since I did a tutorial - bad blogger points - so with that in mind, I thought it was about time that I did one for you. I didn't really have a look in mind when I started this, I just sort of made it up as I went along, I hope you like it!

Is it just me or does it feel like we blinked and February was over?  I'm not complaining though because now it's March, it means that my favourite time of the year is on it's way - Spring and Summer!

TUTORIAL: Valentines Day Make Up

Hi ladies!

With Valentine's Day in just a few days, I thought a make up tutorial would be useful to some of you and it's one of my favourite kind of posts to do. 

I didn't want to go down the usual  route of a smokey eye with a red lip, I wanted to do something a little different. I created this really girly, glitzy but subtle look and I just love how it turned out. I have to be honest when I started I had no idea what was I doing, I didn't have a particular look in mind I just sort of made it up as I went along. HAUL: January Sales.

Hi everyone!

Now that all of the craziness of Christmas has gone, my Mum, my Sister and I decided we would go shopping and have a nosey in the January sales to spend some of our Christmas money. 

As usual I didn't find a lot, why is it when you have money to spend you don't find much you like but when you haven't got money to treat yourself you could quite easily walk into a shop and buy everything? - So frustrating!

Festive FOTD

Yesterday was kind of a second mini Christmas because my parents and little sister were visiting my family in London for Christmas this year, so they came round to my house bearing many gifts - which I got excited like a little child about - and I put out a bit of a buffet type spread for nibbles. 

This is the make up look I wore yesterday, its quite subtle and not very dramatic, but with the shimmery eyeshadow and berry lip I thought it was quite festive.

FOTD Friday: Simple Liner

Happy Friday everyone! 

My FOTD is just something simple that I do towards the end of week but a little bit more than my usual everyday make up.

I love this look, it's so versatile for anything you have planned whether it's a day at the office with back to back meetings or a day off shopping. This make up look is so easy to carry through to the night aswell, all I would do is add a dramatic red lip. Sometimes I pair this with eyeshadow but today I have just gone with a lined top lip with no eyeshadow, just a highlighter in the inner corners of my eyes. 

                                             

October Favourites.

I think that it is safe to say that we are well and truly into Autumn, the trees are covering the ground with their golden litter of leaves and the nights are getting darker earlier.
