REVIEW: Irresistible Me Sapphire 8 in 1 Complete Curler.

Until recently I have always curled my hair with my straightener because I just hadn't known which curler to go for - I mean there are so many out there to choose from. When Irresistible Me asked me if I wanted to review their Sapphire 8-in-1 Complete Curler, I just had to take them up on it as this was one of the curlers I was looking at buying.

I have read a few reviews on other blogs and watched some on YouTube too, I wondered if it was really going to be as good as the reviews claimed. Once I received the curler I very quickly came to the conclusion, yes it is brilliant and so easy to use. I just had to play with it as soon as I got it, trying every wand out to see the different types of curls I could achieve - I had so much fun!

Before I tell you about the actual curler, I want to quickly talk about the packaging - I love it! It comes in a neat looking box that when opened reveals a faux a leather travel case, which easily rolls out to show 10 pockets; one for each barrel, the base and the heat resistant glove, there is even a secure way to keep the wire tidy and organised. If you're anything like me, the organisation of this will make you very happy!

The Sapphire curler has Tourmaline barrels, Tourmaline is a mineral that produces negative ions when heated up and results in a smoother cuticle, this also means that the barrels heat up very quickly. The base has a digital temperature display which allows you to see the temperate the tool is at. One of the features that I really like is the fact that not only can you see the tool getting up to temperate but when the curler is up to temperature the display goes from blue to green, making it clear to know when it's ready to use. The maximum temperature is 230C/450F and like I have already said it heats up so fast!

Other features this curler has are Far Infrared Technology, Dual Voltage and a 360º cord, which makes it so simple to use as you don't get tangled or be restricted. I have to be honest with you I have no idea what Far Infrared Technology is, I tried to research it but I still don't really understand what it is. However I do know what Dual Voltage is, this just means that you don't need a transformer to convert the electrical current, if you're not in the US you just need to get a plug adapter - which are inexpensive - and the curler will work fine.

The Sapphire Complete Curler is so different to a lot other curlers that are available because of the 8 attachments that vary in size and shape. I definitely have my favourite barrels that I use more than others, but it's great to have other options and fun to try them out. Each of the 8 barrels easily lock into the base, ensuring that the wand is secure. Once the wand has cooled it's just as easy to remove from the base.

The only drawback of this curler that I can think of is that when you're in between curls and want to put it down, there's no stand, heat resistant mat or anything to prevent it from rolling away. But that's not a deal breaker.
